Ok. Egypt needs no introduction. The mysterious and enchanting tales of this land has mesmerised people all over the world. From the pages of our history books to documentaries, we have all wondered about the feeling of being able to witness the marvels of the ancient Egyptian civilisation which still stand proudly today after thousands of years.

Trekking in the Atlas mountains – Summiting Mt. Toubkal

I just love being outdoors. And what better way to enjoy the outdoors than to go trekking. Although there are options to hike in the winter in Europe, mountain climbing is definitely out of the question. What do we do then? We look for nearest possible alternatives.

One of the nearest locations with excellent trekking possibilities is the Atlas mountains in Morocco. Tales of Slovenia – Experience the Postojna Cave (video)

If you visit Slovenia, there is absolutely no way that you won’t come across a poster or someone who suggests or rather persuades you to visit Postojna cave. Many might say that the attraction is over hyped.

Postojna cave system is massive in size, and one of the richest in stalactites, stalagmites, pillars, curtains, etc. The reason that it is so talked about is the fact that it has been made very accessible to tourists. Tales of Slovenia – Adventure tour of the enchanting Križna Cave (video)

During our travel in Slovenia, we had the opportunity to visit the Križna cave. The cave system is a extensive one and a unique feature of visits to this cave is the opportunity to explore the cave by crossing thirteen lakes. The tour depends on the water level of the cave. We were extremely lucky to be able to experience it as the tour was possible only for few days in October. Before our visit, there was not enough water to operate the dinghies and after our visit the water level had risen to dangerous levels.

Check out our video of this amazing adventure !!
